Workforce Capability
Strengthen performance from within.
We help organizations identify skills gaps, strengthen teams, and improve performance through evidence-based upskilling and practical capability-building.
About OEG
Ottawa Education Group (OEG) was built on a simple idea: organizations perform better when their people, processes, and technology are aligned.

What began as an entrepreneurial venture in 2023 has evolved into a growing Canadian company focused on helping organizations strengthen performance from within, advance strategic initiatives, and extend their reach into new markets.
Our work was recognized when we won Best New Business at the 2025 Best Ottawa Business Awards, co-hosted by the Ottawa Board of Trade and the Ottawa Business Journal.
What We Do
Today, our work is organized across three connected areas of focus — each one a practical entry point, and together a fuller picture of what your organization can become.
Strengthen performance from within.
We help organizations identify skills gaps, strengthen teams, and improve performance through evidence-based upskilling and practical capability-building.
Advance strategic initiatives that require focused expertise.
We support organizations with targeted advisory and embedded support related to R&D innovation, process improvement, digital transformation, and complex cross-functional initiatives.
Extend your reach into new markets.
We help institutions and organizations position for growth beyond their current region through strategic partnerships, market development, and international expansion support.
Key Milestones
OEG did not follow a straight line. Our organization evolved by responding to real-world conditions, adapting quickly, and building from opportunity.
Founded · 2023
OEG initially pursued opportunities training international students in Canada. When federal caps unexpectedly cut enrolment pathways in 2024, OEG shifted its focus to bring Canadian campuses to international markets. The company also expanded into workforce capability development.
November 2025
Recognition of OEG's early momentum, innovation, and market traction — particularly its success in advancing workforce capability solutions for Canadian employers — marked an important moment in the company's development.
February 2026
The launch of OEG's proprietary analytics tool strengthened the company's evidence-based approach by helping organizations better identify skills gaps and prioritize capability development.
April 2026
Chief Strategy Officer Michael Weatherhead's Forty Under 40 recognition reflected the entrepreneurial leadership helping shape OEG's next phase of growth.
Entering the Next Era
OEG's next era reflects a shift from conventional training models toward a more strategic role — helping organizations build capability, navigate disruption, and turn emerging challenges into opportunities for growth and performance.
