Meet Riya Yadav and dive into her inspiring journey. Riya is a testament to the transformative power of education and the guidance she received from Ottawa Education Group (OEG). Riya’s story began when she made the decision to study abroad in Canada, driven by a thirst for knowledge and a desire to explore new horizons.
Arriving in Canada, Riya enrolled in an Entrepreneurship and Strategy program that spanned a month. This experience provided her with valuable insights into the world of business and strategy, offering a blend of lectures and real-world business visits. The program, facilitated through a partnership between her college and OEG, gave Riya a taste of what to expect when working abroad.
Reflecting on the program, Riya shared, “It was a very well-designed program, with lectures, visits, and seeing real Canadian businesses in action. Ottawa Education Group helped me figure out if the strategy field was my calling.”
Encouraged by OEG to step out of her comfort zone, Riya decided to pursue an MBA at the University of California.
Riya emphasizes the importance of an “Introduction to living abroad” as a crucial part of her growth. Navigating different cultures, understanding diverse perspectives, and building a network of like-minded individuals have been key components of her transformative journey.
